**Client, a world class manufacturer**, **URGENTLY seeks a responsible, reliable, qualified Toolmaker to start **ASAP*****
**Main job function / Experience / Criteria**
Must be highly proficient in conventional lathe machining
Must work independently without direct supervision
Must be able to meet required efficiencies
Must be able to use engineering measuring equipment correctly and accurately (Micrometer/Verniers and Height Gauges)
Quality awareness and able to maintain given controlled sizes from products machined from a group of machines.
Able to set up tools on conventional lathe without any supervision or assistance
Must be willing to work shifts and additional overtime if required
Have own transport
Have a good track record
Qualifications:
Relevant qualification for Fitter and Turner
**Experience**:
**5+ years experience in conventional lathe machining - NOT NEGOTIABLE**
Experience of working to tight production targets
Understanding of Health and Safety practices
Understand lean Manufacturing
