Mechanical and Structural Engineering Manager**Company:**BBST - BrazilBoeing Brazil is seeking **Mechanical and Structural Engineering Manager**, reporting to the Structures Senior Manager, working out of the **São José dos Campos** office. The **Mechanical and Structural Engineering Manager** will join the Structures Design and Stress team and will find leaders to fill multiple spots within our organization. **Position Responsibilities:**• Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Mechanical & Structural Engineering and Design • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes • Manages, develops and motivates employees • Establish an open, inclusive, and innovative team culture • Lead, develop and engage our people within multiple Engineering disciplines **This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.** **Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.** **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**• Must have existing rights to work in Brazil. • Must have a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Civil Engineering • Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA). • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language. • Experience in Engineering design and/or analysis. • Strong execution, communication, and collaboration skills **Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):**• Experience leading or managing technical teams.• Experience with product integrity and in-service safety, and/or mission assurance • Proven expertise in performing stress analyses and/or developing designs for mechanical systems with movable parts, such as actuators, landing gear, and hydraulic components (e.g. manifolds), while considering manufacturability and production methods. • Experience in leading, coaching and developing others (including those who are not your direct reports) • Strong analytic and research skills - must be detail oriented **Relocation:** This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. **Additional Information:** This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil.
