We are looking for a Mid-Level Lawyer to serve as a legal support point for operations in Brazil and Latin America. This is a strategic position focused on contracts, compliance, and project support. The role is a secondment project, with an open-ended duration, and fully remote. The assignment is with a global leader in intelligent and sustainable building solutions, specializing in building automation, HVAC, security, access control, and energy efficiency, with operations in over 150 countries. Main Responsibilities: Act as the primary legal contact for day-to-day legal matters in Brazil; Review, adapt, and manage contracts, letters, and various documents; Support local and regional projects with a focus on compliance and risk mitigation; Work closely and continuously with the regional business team; Update and maintain contract templates and terms and conditions in accordance with local laws; Conduct (virtual) training sessions for internal teams, especially sales, on legal and contractual updates; Translate legal documents when necessary; Assess and respond to contractual disputes, including customer complaints or penalties; Collaborate with other legal departments (litigation, labor, tax, corporate) as needed. Mandatory Requirements: Active OAB license; 5 to 7 years of experience; Fluency in English (mandatory – both written and spoken) and advanced Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking); Previous experience in corporate or business law environments. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in multinational companies or regional (Latin America) roles; Knowledge of compliance and international contract law. Soft Skills: Collaborative, analytical, and solution-oriented profile; Ability to work independently and with multicultural teams.
