Job Summary

Pyyne is seeking a Mid-level Software Engineer with experience in .NET C# to work as a Consultant for a large US-based Insurance client from our Brazilian Office. The candidate should be capable of planning and building software systems, maintaining existing code, and interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET Framework/.NET Core and C#.
  • Build responsive user interfaces using MVC architecture and React components.
  • Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries.
  • Implement Entity Framework for data access and ORM functionality.
  • Apply dependency injection principles and design patterns for scalable architecture.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in insurance applications.

Must Have Skills

  • 2+ years of professional software development experience in an Agile environment.
  • Proficiency in .NET Framework/.NET Core and C#.
  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC and React.js.
  • Proficient in SQL Server, including query optimization.
  • Knowledge of dependency injection and IoC containers.
  • Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience in insurance or financial services industry.
  • Experience with Entity Framework.
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud services.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks.
