The Opportunity:
  • Contribute high-quality code to company-wide initiatives
  • Develop using Elixir, Ruby, React, Typescript, GraphQL, Kafka, AWS/Lambda, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB
  • Influence technical decisions shaping software systems
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies or software design patterns
  • Review code and provide constructive feedback
  • Prioritize pair programming on features
  • Deploy user-facing code to production
Requirements:
  • 3-5+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of reusable components and production-ready web applications
  • Passionate about testing practices and continuous improvement
  • Bachelor of Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Requirements:
  • Javascript, HTML, CSS, and React experience
  • Kafka for event-streaming experience
  • GraphQL experience
  • Storybook experience
  • Microservices experience
  • eCommerce platform experience
  • CMS experience, especially Prismic
