RYZ Labs is looking for a Software Engineer to join one of our client’s teams, from the sports merchandising industry
We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join the Sales & Finance Engineering team and contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of applications specific to the company's unique finance needs. You’ll help build and evolve a service-oriented, event-driven ecosystem of applications that position their finance and leadership teams to make the most informed decisions about the products they are releasing to their fans.
Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Experience building web applications with Phoenix or similar frameworks
  • Interest or experience in CQRS and evented systems
  • Strong proficiency in Elixir programming language and functional programming concepts
  • Familiarity with database systems and PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge of web application security best practices
  • Experience with Git and working with a team (e.g. Pull Requests)
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Experience integrating legacy systems with modern platforms

  • A portfolio or examples of previous Elixir LiveView projects
  • Experience with LiveView

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting thorough code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to team standards
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with product teams to ensure their code meets all customer requirements
  • Breaking down larger projects into smaller tasks for yourself and your team
  • Optimizing application performance and troubleshooting issues
  • Diagnosing and fixing bugs in their services
