Environment Specialist

Team Overview and Job responsibilitiesWe are looking for an Environmental Specialist to join our team.Based in Sorocaba, Brazil, reporting to HSE Manager, you will be the mission of responsible for the Unit's activities in the requirements related to Operational Control, ISO 14001 Management System and legal requirements (Interpretation, implementation and monitoring of environmental legislation). The specialist will be responsible for issuing and managing the environmental licenses and certificates related to the inspection bodies; conducting maintenance audits, recertification, customers and suppliers; management of operational controls such as: waste disposal, inspections, development of improvements, monitoring, KPI's controls, etc. Receive internal, external, corporate and customer audits in order to demonstrate compliance with the Unit's environmental system. Carry out internal audits in other units of the group and its suppliers. You will focus on the following activities:1. Participate in the preparation and monitor the evolution of the Environmental Management Plan regarding environmental costs and contract management in the computerized system (SAP) of the unit under its responsibility;2. Participate / Prepare the Technical Supply Specifications for proper contracting of companies specialized in matters related to the environment;3. Participate/Coordinate critical analysis meetings of the new environmental and EMS legislation at the units and record the decisions taken for the correct management and knowledge of the parties involved;4. Develop and coordinate the environmental authorizations and licensing processes with the Environmental Agencies and monitor for compliance with the conditions for the installation and operation of new processes/manufacturing units.5. Support other management systems, such as Health and Safety at Work, Social Responsibility, Quality, among others, involving environmental issues.6. Technically analyze the environmental aspects in the design of new projects/manufacturing units so that they fully meet the requirements of local and corporate environmental legislation; Control the environmental impacts in the Operating Unit in order to manage them within legal and operational standards.7. Technically analyze the monitoring reports, comparing the results with the limits established in the environmental legislation and taking the appropriate actions foreseen as provided for in the SGA;8. Support the establishment and fulfillment of the Objectives and Programs of the Environmental Management System of the Manufacturing Units, to promote continuous improvement and compliance with the Management Policy.9.
