Embedded Linux Developer Position As an Embedded Linux Software Development Engineer, you will be part of our R&D team and play a key role in the development and maintenance of Embedded Linux BSPs for our System on Modules. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Embedded Linux BSPs for Toradex' embedded computer modules Device driver development: optimizations, bug fixing, add new functionality Eco-system: porting of third party software libraries, develop software tools and utilities from scratch, Boot loader firmware Suggest improvements related to products, software offerings, documentation, processes, etc. in order to allow continuous improvement Work closely with other team members in an Agile development environment and participate in technical analysis and decisions Communicate your work progress, coordinate with other development teams, and participate in R&D working groups Required Skills and Qualifications Technical Expertise: Embedded Linux (Bootloader and Linux Kernel) Programming Skills: Excellent C language knowledge, as well as experience with OpenEmbedded/Yocto Project build system Communication Peripherals: Familiarity with communication peripherals such as Bluetooth, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi Electronics Knowledge: Ability to read and understand hardware schematics and datasheets Personal Attributes: High-integrity, open, team player What We Offer Agile and globally oriented corporate culture Opportunity to work on the latest HW technology with early access to major SoC vendors Flat hierarchy where you can shape our HW and SW offerings Chance to play a key role in shaping your own work processes and work environment Contemporary employment conditions, modern office space, and flexible working hours Location Campinas, São Paulo - Hybrid position
