Responsibilities

The e-commerce transaction market has been growing exponentially through the years. Your role on this job will be centered around a concern that grows with online purchases: FRAUD. The real challenge is not stopping fraud from happening, but detecting suspicious behaviors while preserving our merchants' approval rates. There's no pride in having stable fraud numbers if we compromise most of our operation to do so. We are looking for someone with previous experience in Fraud Prevention and with a customer-centric and data-driven mentality.

  • Helping with Fraud Prevention activities;
  • Identify offenders, opportunities and come up with a strategy to address and fix it;
  • Contribute with disruptive ideas and insights that will benefit the business.
Main requirements
  • You know how to use SQL (joining tables, aggregation functions) to extract data for analysis purposes and also make your daily activities easier;
  • You have English skills. We're a multinational company and you will be off your native language for e-mail replies and meeting attends very frequently;
  • You respect all cultures and beliefs and don't have a prejudgment mindset.

  • You have great communication skills and are a fast learner;
  • Knowledge about chargeback rates and fraud prevention;
  • You also have Spanish.
