The impact you will have Lead the discovery and analysis of business processes across all departments, identifying high‑impact opportunities for automation and process re‑engineering. Architect, build, and maintain robust, scalable automation workflows using platforms like n8n and Make, seamlessly extending their capabilities with custom JavaScript or Python when necessary. Develop complex integrations between our core systems and third‑party applications, including Jira, Slack, Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, Notion, Google Workspace, and our core data warehouse in BigQuery. Pioneer the use of AI within our automations, building agentic workflows, leveraging LLMs for tasks like content summarization and data reconciliation, and implementing robust evaluation frameworks to measure model effectiveness. Serve as the platform owner for our core AI and automation tech stack. This includes working alongside our Infrastructure teams managing the environments to ensure reliability and performance, as well as enhancing the user experience (UX) to empower other teams to build their own automations effectively. Champion and enforce stringent security standards in all automations, ensuring the secure handling of sensitive data and implementing best practices for encryption, access control, and secure API usage in partnership with our security team. Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of automation projects from initial ideation and requirements gathering with stakeholders to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. What we’re looking for 5+ years of experience in process automation, software development, or a similar role, with a strong portfolio of successfully deployed projects that delivered measurable business value. Expert‑level proficiency with at least one enterprise‑grade low‑code/no‑code automation platform (e.g., n8n, Make). You should know its limitations and have a strong understanding of best practices to implement when working with the tools. Strong scripting and development skills in JavaScript (Node.js) and/or Python, used to write custom logic, transform data, and interact with APIs. Proficiency in software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices. You should be comfortable using version control (Git) for your projects and understand the principles of automated testing and CI/CD to build robust and maintainable automations. Deep expertise in business process mapping, requirements gathering, and designing scalable, fault‑tolerant workflow architectures. Demonstrated experience architecting complex, multi‑system API integrations and solving the challenges that come with them. A security‑first mindset with proven experience building systems that handle sensitive or confidential data. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams. A proactive and autonomous work ethic. You can take a high‑level goal, break it down into actionable steps, and drive it to completion. Nice to have Experience building agentic workflows or integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) for tasks like NLP, data extraction, or content generation. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and services (GCP, AWS). Experience with data warehousing concepts and writing complex SQL queries (especially for BigQuery).
