Strategic Enterprise Application Portfolio Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic APM professional to support our enterprise architecture and application rationalization efforts using LeanIX. This role is critical in capturing, analyzing, and maintaining application metadata to assess current technology usage, align future business requirements, and guide decisions on modernization, consolidation, or new application development. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Purpose of Application Portfolio Management: To populate and maintain accurate application data within LeanIX, including ownership, lifecycle, business capabilities, and technical attributes. Ensuring Data Consistency: Evaluate applications for business value (e.g., strategic alignment, user impact, cost efficiency), assess technical value (e.g., scalability, integration readiness, security posture, supportability), and identify candidates for retirement, consolidation, or modernization. Future Planning & Technology Mapping: Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to map future business requirements to existing technologies, support decision-making on whether to enhance current platforms or build new applications. Engaging Stakeholders: Work closely with application owners, enterprise architects, and business analysts to gather insights and validate data, facilitate workshops and reviews to ensure alignment on application strategy and lifecycle decisions. Generating Insights & Reporting: Generate dashboards and reports from LeanIX to support executive decision-making, provide insights into portfolio health, redundancy, risk, and optimization opportunities.
