The developed product is a leading software system in the Energy domain, covering all aspects of Oil & Gas production—from geological exploration to the optimization of ongoing operations. Our technology solution enables geologists and geophysicists to efficiently research, visualize, and interpret large volumes of geological data. You’ll be joining a senior, supportive, and friendly team, committed to delivering high‑quality solutions in the industry. Responsibilities Develop, execute, and maintain performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios for drilling applications. Analyze system behavior under stress, load, and endurance conditions to identify performance bottlenecks and work with development teams for resolution. Use tools such as Load Runner, JMeter, or custom scripts to simulate operational environments typical in drilling operations. Collaborate with software architects, developers, and Dev Ops to optimize throughput, latency, and resource utilization. Monitor key performance indicators (CPU, memory, I / O, network) during test executions using tools like New Relic and correlate results with backend logs and telemetry data. Create performance benchmark baselines and contribute to SLAs definition for system responsiveness and throughput. Support CI / CD pipelines by integrating performance testing into automated workflows (e.g., Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops). Participate in code and architecture reviews to assess and improve system scalability and resiliency. Generate detailed test reports and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders. Mandatory Skills Description Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience in performance engineering or testing in enterprise or industrial software. Strong Java and / or C# Core understanding with the ability to debug issues, analyse stacktraces, and perform root cause analysis. Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Power Shell, Bash) for test automation. Experience with monitoring tools like New Relic, Dynatrace. Solid understanding of network latency, threading / concurrency, memory profiling, and database performance (SQL / No SQL). Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to interpret performance metrics into actionable insights. Software development background, ability to modify code. Nice‑to‑Have Skills Description Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or private data centers supporting oilfield operations. Familiarity with oil and gas drilling workflows, real‑time data protocols. ISTQB or other performance testing certifications. Languages English : B2 Upper Intermediate #J-18808-Ljbffr
