AUTOMATION AND CONTROL ENGINEER OR TECHNOLOGIST
Responsible for providing technical support, preparing quotations, and executing Digitec Brazil’s projects.
This is a full-time on-site role for an Automation and Control Engineer or Technologist at Digitec S.A., located in Rio de Janeiro, RJ. The individual will be responsible for designing control systems, troubleshooting issues, and managing process control. Day-to-day tasks include working with electrical engineering components and robotics to develop, implement, and maintain automation systems that meet the needs of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reading and comprehension (manuals, technical sheets)
- Listening and understanding
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Process Control and Troubleshooting
- Understanding of Electrical Engineering principles
- Experience in Robotics and Control Systems Design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field
- Relevant work experience in automation and control systems is preferred
Work Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of field experience
- Experience in oil & gas companies, working in the instrumentation area or related fields
