**We help the world run better****ROLE DESCRIPTION**The SAP Ariba Senior Business Process Consultant is responsible for assists customers in the development of processes and procedures which leverage Ariba solution functionality being deployed, supports the design process with customers leveraging Ariba Best Practices as appropriate, uses knowledge of customer’s business and industry to assess findings and shape solutions, ensures client success within the realm and scope of the Statement of Work (SOW).Core to the Senior Business Process Consultant skillset are strong analytical capabilities, good communication and presentation skills, ability to deal with fluid environments, problem solve, operate independently, influence decision makers, as well as the ability to think outside of the box and work within the delivery team to provide the client with world-class service on a consistent basis. The Functional consultant does have a proven track record of delivering high quality results in a professional environment. High energy and impetus combined with an appetite for learning.This senior consultant is part of an integrated team prepared to speaks Ariba (functional/Technical) to a variety of customers from different departments, at different levels, and in large or small groups (e.g., client project manager, technical team).**EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS**- Customer Focus, assisting customers through the lifecycle of an Ariba implementation and contributes to functional and technical design documents.- Knows customer problems and anticipates their needs. Assists with identifying client issues and communicates to effectively resolve problems and recognizes the service needs associated with a client-focused business model.- Dedicated to delivering exceptional results, builds solution, customer, and industry knowledge by leveraging the appropriate resources (internally at Ariba and externally at the client).- Monitor project plan tasks side by side with Project manager to help ensure deliverables are on time, within budget and synthesizes learnings into a logical story using quantitative/qualitative data and/or sound reasoning.- Quickly learns new Ariba solutions in order to present them credibly and confidently to clients and Ariba consultants and customers.- Ability to train, mentor and develop other consultants (new joiners)- Demonstrated ability to successfully work with multi-functional teams / Shares knowledge and experience through training and communications with customers and internal Ariba consultants.**BASIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATION**- Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Accounting, Finance or equivalent ERP core knowledge areas.- Availability to travel outside your base 50 > 80%.- A minimum of seven (7) years consulting experience in ERP systems implementation and process re-engineering through national or regional consulting firm.- Proven experience in SAP MM/SRM implementation.- Proven experience in one of these 2 Ariba lines:- Strategic Sourcing : Sourcing, Contracts and SLP/SIPM.- Operational/Tactical : Ariba Buying, Catalogs, Network- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.- Advanced knowledge of spend management strategies and/or procurement/purchasing, strategic sourcing related areas.- Strong analytical and organizational talent.- Advanced English language: written and conversation**EXPERT KNOWLEDGE**- Waterfall and/or Agile Methodology.- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and organizational talent.
