Station70 is redefining digital asset security through our wallet-agnostic platform for scalable and secure digital asset key backup and recovery. Named after the protective bunkers used in the CASTLE nuclear tests, we offer trusted infrastructure for safeguarding assets against wallet provider interruptions and failures while also meeting complex security and regulatory needs. Our engineering team builds zero-knowledge architecture solutions that eliminate counterparty risk while meeting complex security and regulatory requirements. As we rapidly expand our backend capabilities, we are seeking an exceptional senior backend engineer to join our engineering team.
The RoleWe seek an experienced, innovative, and high-output engineer to design, implement, and maintain our critical backend infrastructure. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies to build scalable, efficient systems that power our core services.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and support robust backend services in Python, leveraging modern web frameworks like FastAPIDevelop REST APIs for seamless integration with our front-end applicationsImplement automated unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliabilityArchitect and implement AWS Lambda functions for serverless computing, with communication via SQS, persistent storage in PostgreSQL using SQLAlchemy, and object storage in S3Maintain and improve our automated deployment processes using CI/CD pipelinesCollaborate cross-functionally to deliver quality features at a fast paceTake part in an incident response on-call schedule
Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on backend systemsExpert-level proficiency in Python and experience with modern web frameworks like FastAPIExtensive experience working with AWS services, especially Lambda, SQS, RDS, and related technologiesExperience with CI/CD practices and automated deploymentsExcellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative team playerBachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
