Our client is a leading provider in the iGaming industry, expanding its operations in Brazil. They are seeking a Director of Accounting and Finance to oversee the financial operations and provide strategic financial guidance as the company grows.

Position Overview:

The Director of Accounting and Finance will be responsible for managing the company's financial health, overseeing accounting operations, and providing strategic financial direction. This role involves developing financial strategies, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing the finance team, and driving financial planning and analysis to support the company's expansion efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and stability.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reporting.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align financial goals with company objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including tax compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide insights for improvement.
  • Manage the preparation of financial statements and coordinate annual audits.
  • Streamline accounting processes and systems for improved efficiency.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in a senior financial management role within the iGaming industry is required.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions and provide actionable financial insights.
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and English is required.
