A Typical Day Lead and motivate a team of Localization Managers, including team building, performance management, talent development and change management. Provide linguistic and cultural expertise in developing strategy to drive international growth, collaborating with both central and local teams. Advocate for localization, influencing other teams to deliver the best possible user experience. Engage with stakeholders to gather cultural insights and influence product changes. Own initiatives to improve translation quality across all platforms. Partner with translation and QA vendors to monitor and improve quality output of Mexican Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. Coordinate language feedback from users and Airbnb employees. Develop and maintain linguistic and cultural standards and guidelines. Support copywriting for content marketing initiatives. Work with Localization Program Managers and Linguistic QA Managers to ship top quality products internationally. Your Expertise 8+ years of experience managing language quality and localization programs at a strategic level. 1+ year of direct people management experience; experience managing international direct reports a plus. Native/bilingual fluency in Spanish (Mexican) and English. Proven experience in translation, localization and language quality management. Time management skills, ability to multitask, highly organized. Passion for translations and languages. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Experience in project/program management and partner/stakeholder management across cross‑functional teams and time zones. *Please submit your resume/CV in English* Location This position is US - Remote Eligible.
