You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering , or a related field — or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience working with Azure cloud services for data processing and analytics.
- Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
- Solid knowledge of SQL for querying, data preparation, and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI for building dashboards and delivering insights.
- Ability to design and execute data-driven solutions to support business objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to explain complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- English proficiency (B2+), both written and spoken.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and transform data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and reliability.
- Build and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to generate insights and forecasts.
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards to communicate data insights to business leaders and stakeholders.
- Leverage Azure cloud services to manage and optimize data pipelines and analytical solutions.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, analyze, and transform large datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, business) to align data science solutions with organizational goals.
- Translate business problems into data science approaches and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Stay current with emerging tools and methods in data science, cloud analytics, and visualization .
