Who We Are Looking For

You are an experienced IT Project Manager with a track record of successful IT project delivery. You are a capable manager who can coordinate and lead IT infrastructure projects by ensuring that all required activities are completed within the agreed scope and on time. The successful candidate will own the delivery of certain scope items from initiation to closure by maintaining strong relationships with Mobiz team members and external clients. You are key in contributing to the growth of Mobiz, with strong technical understanding and excellent communication skills. Must be flexible to work in EST and PST time zones as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead project assignments with little oversight
• Plan and execute IT projects for multiple clients including infrastructure deployments, cloud migrations, and automation engagements
• Coordinate and manage the entire project scope, activities, schedule, resources, and quality in a matrix organization with engineering and product delivery teams
• Manage client relationships and communications between clients and internal teams
• Manage project KPIs including scope, effort, schedule, cost, and quality
• Conduct post-project lessons learned and incorporate improvements into tools and processes
• Maintain and report on RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions) for projects
• Provide regular status updates (dashboards and status reports) and lead project reviews
• Collaborate with fellow project managers on staffing, task allocation, standardization, and process improvements
• Provide feedback to technical leads on project team performance

Qualifications And Experience You Will Need

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Project Management training and active certification (e.g., PMI PMP)
• Minimum of 5-7 years of IT project management experience including digital transformation in agile and waterfall environments
• Experience in IT systems development and management
• Experience leading IT infrastructure, DevOps, and software development projects in cloud (Azure, AWS), networking, network security, Citrix, ServiceNow
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Minimum of 5 years in an IT consulting firm managing external client projects
• Working knowledge of MS Project, JIRA, and ServiceNow is preferred
