This is a fully remote opportunity for one of our esteemed clients.

About the role:The Cloud Operations Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, monitoring, diagnostics, support, and installation of systems on Cloud datacenters (Azure). The ideal candidate would be innovative and have great problem-solving and analytical skills. You have experience operating distributed systems and diagnosing and resolving complex problems. You pay attention to detail and solve problems at their root.

Responsibilities

Install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, services, storage, etc., in accordance with standards and project/operational requirementsSet up and configuration of common infrastructure components (Networking, VPN tunnel, Firewalls, DC, etc.),Work closely with the service desk and other colleagues to resolve problemsBeing able to communicate effectively with the customerInvestigate and troubleshoot system and software configuration and related performance issuesCreate Applications as a Code pipeline, including various task groups for automated testing, security scans, quality, and release control gatesCreate and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operationsPlay a critical role in building systems to manage and automate platforms and serversHelp the development team with tools and services to enhance productivityDesign, build, maintain, and optimize systems for deployment, monitoring, and operationsMonitor, refine, and resolve issues with development, test, staging, and production environments.Identify and set up tools to optimize team members’ workWork closely with and assist the Systems Administrator as neededOperate within a regulated quality management system
