Informatica Powercenter Engineer

Job Description We're looking for aSenior Informatica PowerCenter Engineerto join our team on a 6-month remote contract. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ETL development, data modeling, and integration using Informatica PowerCenter, along with solid SQL and Python skills for data manipulation and analysis. This role involves working with large-scale data sets, building and maintaining efficient data pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and quality. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter. Work with data models, data access patterns, and star schemas in data warehouses. Write and optimize advanced SQL queries for data transformation and reporting. Use Python scripting to analyze and manipulate large data sets. Support Managed File Transfer (MFT) integrations and automation. Collaborate on API integrations and AWS S3 data handling. Participate in unit testing, software change management, and release processes. Identify and resolve data quality or performance issues. (Optional) Create and maintain dashboards or visualizations using Tableau. Qualifications 6+ years of hands‑on experience with Informatica PowerCenter. Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL design, and data warehousing concepts. Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python. Experience with MFT tools and file‑based integrations. Working knowledge of APIs and AWS S3. Familiarity with Tableau or other BI tools is a plus. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
