We are seeking a strategic and execution-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our Operations and Country Growth teams. The COO will ensure that EBANX delivers high-performance, compliant, and scalable operations across all regions—currently focused on Latin America, Africa and India, with future expansion plans in Southeast Asia and Middle East. This role is central to EBANX's success on a global basis, driving operational excellence in each country we serve. The COO will be accountable for superior payment performance by optimizing approval rates, minimizing fraud, and ensuring an exceptional client experience and alsocollaborate closely with the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to ensure go-to-market excellence, while empowering regional teams to represent EBANX locally and drive sustainable, market-specific growth.

Operational Excellence

• Drive payment performance: increase approval rates, reduce fraud, and improve SLAs.
• Lead client support operations with a focus on scalability and automation.
• Partner with Technology teams to ensure platform evolution.
• Ensure risk, compliance, and regulatory alignment across markets.

Country Growth Strategy

• Lead and scale regional teams across Latin America, Africa, India, and future regions.
• Strengthen relationships with local partners (regulators, banks, PSPs).
• Partner with Product teams to ensure continuous build of leading offer.
• Act as an executive sponsor for market success, supporting cross-functional alignment.

GTM Enablement & Revenue Alignment

• Partner with the CRO to ensure implementation, post-sales operational support and market localization.
• Align operational capabilities with commercial goals and client success.

Executive Leadership & Culture

• Serve as a strategic advisor and member of the executive leadership team.
• Attract, retain, and develop a world-class team with global accountability.
• Champion a high-performance, inclusive, and mission-aligned culture.

• Executive experience in high-growth fintechs, payments, or global ops.
• Expertise in leading distributed teams and scaling operations globally.
• Proven track record improving payments metrics (approval rates, fraud, NPS).
• Experience with local regulators, financial partners, and emerging markets dynamics.
• Cross-functional fluency (Product, Revenue, Risk, Tax, etc.).
• Strategic mindset with executional rigor and comfort with ambiguity.
• English fluency required; Spanish and/or Portuguese strongly preferred.
