Reliability Engineer, Mill

At Rosebel Gold Mines N.V., we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MillReliability Engineer to join our Mill department. As a Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our fixed asset milling equipment.

In this role, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the team's understanding of mechanical systems reliability, as well as fixed plant maintenance and operation. The MillReliability Engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with availability, reliability, and maintainability goals for equipment, processes, facilities, control, and safety systems, while also meeting cost and budget targets.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures.
• Provide technical support for analyzing day-to-day problems, troubleshooting issues, and preparing detailed written reports to better understand and enhance reliability issues affecting plant operations.
• Develop, revise, update, and improve Predictive Maintenance strategies for critical and non-critical assets of the Mill. Supervise the reliability technician team to execute the Predictive Maintenance plan (daily, weekly, annually, etc.)
• Improve maintenance procedures in collaboration with the Mechanical, Electrical, and Operational Teams.
• Participate in the implementation of a reliability plan program with internal and external support (contractors).
• Build and track KPIs on asset availability and downtime to identify the team's biggest constraint in achieving their production targets.
• Support the Senior Reliability Engineer in producing root cause analysis reports on equipment failures. Produce failure reports for breakdowns.
• Work in conjunction with the planning and project department to improve and build the mill maintenance budget.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical, industrial engineering or technical engineering or related field.
• 5-8 years of related work experience in millwright or electrical plant maintenance.
• Knowledge in Reliability-based Maintenance Management and the main maintenance management indicators (KPIs) for mine and plant.
• Familiarity with methodologies for asset reliability analysis such as RCA, LDA, QLT, Weibull, etc.
• Knowledge of milling equipment and processes.
• Advanced Computer knowledge of Ms. Office, Outlook, ERPs systems, reliability software systems.
• Willingness to work on a rotational schedule of 14 days of work followed by 7 days break.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Dutch and English.
