This role is essential for driving our innovation at the intersection of large language models (LLMs) and advanced data analytics. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in software engineering, a keen understanding of LLM evaluation methodologies, and experience with modern data analytics architectures, particularly semantic layers. Responsibilities LLM Evaluation and Performance: Design, implement, and analyze rigorous evaluation metrics and pipelines for large language models, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for various use cases. Semantic Layer Development: Work closely with data science and engineering teams to integrate and leverage Cube Core for the development and maintenance of our analytics semantic layer. Model Integration and Deployment: Engineer robust and scalable software solutions for integrating LLMs into our production systems. Analytical Tooling: Develop and maintain tools for capturing, processing, and analyzing data generated by LLM interactions and general system usage. Collaboration: Partner with product managers and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-quality, impactful features. Requirements Software Engineering: Strong proficiency in Python with significant experience in software development practices. LLM Understanding: Demonstrated understanding of large language model principles, architectures, and evaluation techniques (LLM Evals). Analytics Semantic Layers: Experience working with or developing semantic layers for analytics, with familiarity in tools like Cube Core being a significant advantage. Data Analysis: Experience in data manipulation, cleaning, and analysis using relevant libraries and frameworks. Preferred Requirements LLM Experience: Prior hands‑on experience in fine‑tuning, training, or productionizing Large Language Models.
