Operator, Assembler I

Essential Job Functions/Tasks Read work orders, follow engineering drawings and/or process flowchart and/or receive verbal instructions regarding duties. Separates and assembles parts, subassemblies, and finished goods conforming to established specifications. May use hand tools or fixtures to assemble products. Reports production orders notes in the ERP system. Packs finished goods after assembling. Counts and supplies parts and subassemblies in the shelves for assembling. Acts as first line of inspection, either by manufacturing defects or non‑conformities. Rotates through all the tasks required in a particular production process and provides support and assistance in all areas of the Manufacturing department, as needed. Complies with good production practices and keep a clean, organized and safe work environment. Notifies appropriate personnel of equipment failures and/or quality deficiencies and communicates effectively to support Continuous Process Improvement. Adheres to all company and departmental safety procedures including use of personal protective equipment when necessary. Does not operate machinery when guarding is not in place. Qualifications Education/Training Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience Required: Minimum of six months of general experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and the ability to comprehend work instructions.Ability to work within a team environment and demonstrate professional behavior.Must be reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.Requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.Ability to perform data entry, basic proficiency with computers for using Microsoft Office software package, view electronic procedures and pass training courses.Ability to use either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes.Knowledge of and ability to use arithmetic. Must be able to accurately perform intermediate mathematical and statistical calculations and use a weight counting scale.Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with members across the organization.Must be able to work overtime when required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
