The role reports directly to GVP, Regional GM, LATAM . The Director, Client Engagement will be based in Brazil, São Paulo, within commuting distance of our Regional office. Position SummaryAs Rimini Street continues to evolve and scale toward $1B/year in revenue, we are seeking a Director, Client Engagement (CED) to grow and retain our business with existing clients in LATAM. The CED will lead a team of 3-4 Senior Engagement Managers (SEMs) and will be responsible for managing, retaining, and growing our footprint of support within the client base while exceeding Rimini Street’s goals for client retention and growth. The CED will hire, train, and lead this team as part of Rimini Street’s expansion. The ideal candidate will be relentlessly client-focused, have 15+ years of experience leading high-performance teams and selling technology solutions to large enterprise customers, with experience selling a range of technology services including Software Support, Application Management Services (AMS), other Managed Services, and Professional Services. The CED should demonstrate the ability to leverage core offerings with an existing installed base to grow sales of new and emerging services in a multi-offering portfolio. ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a team (3-4 SEMs) to consistently overachieve revenue targets; hire, onboard, train, and manage the team. Ensure the success of direct reports by collaborating with corporate support functions. Develop and execute account plans to grow Rimini Street support and products within the SEM team, identifying and closing cross-sell opportunities. Guide clients through Rimini Street services and adoption via a Solution Selling approach. Provide weekly sales and renewal forecasts to the GVP, Regional GM. Collaborate with marketing to deliver account-based marketing and Go-To-Market initiatives. Maintain up-to-date client sales and renewal activities in Salesforce.com. Retention, Renewals, and Client SatisfactionWork with Renewals Sales, pre-sales, Product Line Managers, Service Delivery, and internal teams to retain clients and secure renewals of existing contracts. Identify renewal risks early and collaborate on strategies to address issues and expand opportunities within the client base. Meet or exceed annual retention targets and expand footprints to offset renewal losses. Account Management and SatisfactionManage client relationships to achieve full-service adoption and high satisfaction. Maximize value from Rimini Street offerings and ensure deployment of entitled services. Maintain strategic client alignment with plans and goals; drive adoption of supported products and services. Leverage relationships for references, success stories, testimonials, and marketing assets. Grow executive relationships within the client base and keep clients informed about Rimini Street offerings and innovations. Serve as the voice of the customer to inform product and service improvements. Service Delivery and Margin ManagementCollaborate with Global Support Delivery teams to deliver high-quality services and meet margin goals. Ensure SLAs are met and that deliverables provide value per the contracted Scope of Work. Manage client escalations and advocate for timely resolution. Monitor deal-level margins and suggest improvements to profitability for the client portfolio. Experience and Qualifications10+ years in enterprise software and services sales, including building new markets or businesses in startups or international companies. 5+ years in post-sales customer-facing roles (Account Management, Customer Success, or equivalent). 5+ years in a sales leadership role with a proven record of building high-performing teams and achieving sales targets. 5+ years selling technology services including Software Support, Managed Services, and/or Professional Services. Experience selling services and solutions for existing software products. Ability to develop executive relationships with clients, partners, industry analysts, and press for references and marketing assets. Proven track record of achieving quota and growing client accounts; experience with team selling where >50% of the role involves leading and developing others. EducationBachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred; open to equivalent work experience. LocationBrazil, São Paulo office LanguageFluent Portuguese and English. Spanish a plus.
