You will evangelise and educate about AWS technology.Roles and ResponsibilitiesSolution Architects have 4 main responsibilities:1. Be a Customer Advisor. In partnership with the account team, formulate and execute a strategy to enable customer success. Help customers adopt AWS services and make the best use of them, driving revenue as a result. Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud. Build trust with technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.2. Be a Thought Leader. Transfer knowledge to customers. Capture and share best-practice knowledge among AWS solutions architect community. Contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, posts or video blogs. Deliver workshops, user groups, public speaking, online videos, and conferences.3. Be in Continuous Professionalism Growth. Be curious, keep learning. Demonstrate your learning achievements taking AWS Certifications. Work with others so you deliver more. Work with others to help them deliver more. Participate in meet ups and conferences.4. Advance Organizational Capabilities. Act as a technical liaison between customers and the service engineering teams to improve AWS services and capabilities. Bring your ideas for innovation. We must begin each day with a determination to make better, do better, and be better for our customers, our employees, our partners, and the world at large.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud- Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
