About the Role

Location: Brazil (São Paulo or surrounding regions preferred)

We seek a seasoned, strategic, and hands-on COO to lead our go-to-market strategy for mineral-based carbon removal products across agriculture and mining sectors . You will oversee our entire value chain, from mineral inputs and field operations to our science engine and technology roadmap. This senior role combines bold strategy with operational precision to scale our impact.
Your role involves refining product-market fit , identifying scalable customer use cases , and leading the integration of deployment, scientific standards, and operational scaling. You will collaborate closely with our Chief Impact Officer and Head of Operations on regional management and logistics, and with our VP of Science to align field strategy with scientific standards and climate goals. You will ensure our product offers agronomic value and meets carbon certification standards, scaling pilots into high-impact operations at a national level.
The ideal candidate has a strong operational track record , preferably in Brazilian agribusiness , capable of bridging execution with innovation .
You will report directly to the CEO and be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team , leading a growing team including:

• Head of Operations and project deployment teams
• Strategic partners including the Chief Impact Officer and commercial teams
• Close collaboration with the VP of Science
• Coordination with Carbon and Technology teams

We seek a strategic COO to lead go-to-market efforts and operational scaling. Responsibilities include overseeing the entire value chain, ensuring product-market fit, and scaling deployment from pilots to national impact. You will work closely with senior leaders and lead a team to ensure operational excellence and scientific integrity, fostering trust with farming partners and scaling our impact.

Key Responsibilities Strategy, Innovation & Scaling Operations

• Define and scale our carbon removal product from early traction to market leader.
• Design and execute scalable ERW deployment operations in Brazil.
• Translate climate goals into operational strategies.
• Improve operations through KPIs and data-driven performance.

Agricultural & Supply Chain Leadership

• Drive go-to-market strategies, building trust with stakeholders.
• Develop partnerships with suppliers, logistics, and regional stakeholders.
• Oversee sourcing, logistics, and deployment of rock powder.
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

Science-Driven Operations & Technology Alignment

• Collaborate with science and tech teams to integrate R&D and data flows.
• Ensure product efficacy and credibility in real-world deployment.
• Support legal efforts for carbon reporting and impact.

Team & Culture Building

• Build an entrepreneurial, accountable leadership culture.
• Mentor and grow operations teams in Brazil and globally.
• Promote a culture of collaboration and impact.
• Empower regional managers and technical leads.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Core Skills & Experience

• 10+ years in senior operations, supply chain, or agribusiness, especially in Brazil or high-growth/startup contexts.
• Experience scaling from early-stage to market success, ideally as a founder, GM, or CEO.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams and scalable systems.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
