Geomechanical Engineer

Geomechanical Engineer Join to apply for the Geomechanical Engineer role at ICM People do Brasil . We are looking for a qualified professional in Geosciences or Reservoir Engineering (Bachelor’s degree or higher). Duration of assignment: 3 months Rotation: onshore job – 12hrs per day, 7 days per week. This is a temporary assignment based in Brazil. Key Responsibilities Update reservoir data using 1D geomechanical modeling and support operational geomechanics monitoring within the company's environment/software (Drillworks). Ensure deliverables fully align with customer expectations for quality, functionality, and overall user experience. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to validate test cases and ensure they meet acceptance criteria. Maintain and refine the product backlog according to evolving customer and market needs, with approval from senior product management. Follow agile methodologies throughout the solution development lifecycle. Work closely with solution owners, leadership teams, and external stakeholders to define priorities, guide product direction, and support business/commercial strategy. Partner with delivery management and product engineering to clearly define scope and translate needs into actionable feature requirements. Requirements Degree in Geology, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Geomechanical Engineer. Hands‑on experience using Drillworks software (basic proficiency required). Strong commercial acumen with a customer‑centric mindset to understand and communicate product value. Excellent communication skills and confidence in collaborating with customers.
