About the Position: The Brazil Director is responsible for leading all related aspects needed for the success of Amvac Brazil. Its position has to create the commercial strategy capable to capture the opportunity of the Crop Protection and Green Solution market and create value for all of our stakeholders. The Director must lead with passion and promote a culture aligned with company values. Key Responsibilities: Commercial, Sales and Business Management Responsible for managing all operations within Brazil. This involves taking responsibility for profit, revenue, cash and business quality targets (such as inventories, AR’s, AP’s, etc). It also includes coordinating and supporting the actions done in product development, technical services, marketing and registration in his/her territory, with Regional Headquarters (HQ) staff. Agreeing annual budgets and producing a detailed annual business operating plan. Forecasting monthly the future sales for an accurate Sales and Operations Rolling Forecast. Deliver monthly, quarterly or annual targets for revenue, profits and cash flow. Produce business performance reports on a monthly and quarterly basis. Actively pursue and create the right Portfolio for Sales Team in order to achieve sales targets. Continue search of new products, technology or any other opportunity that can improve the position of the entity within the country. Supplier and External Relations Lead close relationships and active communication with actual and potential suppliers of the entity. Responsible for keeping a close relationship with suppliers, coordinating activities like forecast revisions, field trials, conferences, inventory reviews, distribution agreements, product promotions, all this in coordination with corporate office or Regional HQ. Representation of the company with Associations, Government Authorities, etc. Keep informed Regional HQ about relevant changes in the market, prices, competitor strategies, etc. Leadership, People Management and Organizational Development Must recruit and manage staff, including performance monitoring, and mentoring, coaching, training and developing talent. Maintain a motivated, highly skilled and passionate team. Be active part and lead interdepartmental committees like Credit Committee, Local SIOP, Product/Portfolio Committee. Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements: Excellent business acumen, critical decision‑making abilities, and strategic thinker who can effectively manage details. Willing to work closely with Sales and Product Development Teams directly on the ground. Technical knowledge of main crops like Soybean, cotton, corn. Strong sales, operational and supply chain understanding. Superior skills and comprehension of financial and forecasting elements. Strong commitment to achieving sales and profit results, showing a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding targeted objectives. Proficient commercial management Skills, able to organize and lead sales teams, to attract potential customers, and create new commercial opportunities for the company. Ability to build cross functional relationships, gaining alignment from peers, leaders, customers and other stakeholders in the organization to drive commercial strategic goals. Capable of handling and leading commercial relationships with main customers. Performs role of a leader by motivating and inspiring others to perform well, while displaying self‑confidence, passion and optimism regarding the business. Ability to lead a team to achieve results in a challenging market. Excellent interpersonal skills creating collaborative relationships. Promote a competitive environment throughout the Sales Team. Create and follow up KPI’s by sales rep, by region, by crop. Technologically savvy; ability to quickly learn and utilize multiple enterprise systems. Able to work independently (with little supervision) as well as part of a team. Honesty, integrity, perseverance, creativity and passion. The ideal candidate will be based in, or preferably reside in São Paulo, Ribeirão Preto, or Campinas , to ensure close connection with key customers, teams, and business operations across the region. Academic Background and Experience A degree in Agriculture or related field (This is a Must). MBA or business related degree is a plus. Minimum 7–10 years of experience in the agrochemical market in positions related to Sales Management, Commercial Management, or General Management. (This is a Must) Ability to communicate in Spanish and English. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Brazilian Agriculture industry, regulations, crops, market and agro chemical commercial channels. (required) Possess subject matter expertise (technical) and credibility necessary to support the Sales team.
