Immersive Frontend Engineer Role: Driving Digital Excellence

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Engineer to contribute to the frontend of a leading global online community and discussion platform. As a key member, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting all features of the platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality frontend codebase
  • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
  • Collaborate with the team on future features and visual design possibilities
  • Manage assigned tasks in Jira, ensuring clear communication on progress, questions, and risks
  • Contribute to technical discussions and share best practices with a global, remote team
Requirements
  • 4+ years of software engineering experience, primarily focused on building user-facing web applications at scale using TypeScript
  • Solid knowledge of GraphQL and HTTP basics
  • Backend experience (service development, databases, Kubernetes) and ability to design maintainable APIs is a strong plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver projects on time
  • Self-directed, proactive, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written) to effectively collaborate with remote teams and convey complex technical topics
