This role
The National Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the sales operations of the country, aligning the sales team with the company’s overarching objectives, optimizing sales productivity, and enhancing partner relationships, by analyzing performance data and implementing targeted strategies, driving substantial revenue growth and market expansion.
Responsibilities- Lead Regional Sales Managers to develop and implement effective strategic plans and goals to achieve sales objectives and budgets.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans, both short and long-term, to achieve sales targets and drive across all regions growth, by supporting teams in overcoming challenges and obstacles.
- Establish KPIs and track records, monitor and analyze sales performance and sales results to identify areas of improvement, adjusting strategies as needed to improve results.
- Provide and present data driven sales force performance feedback to the senior management team
- Establish and strengthen relationships with our commercial partners to ensure the growth of our distribution network.
- Prepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts
- Monitor competitor activities by obtaining information on competitors and market trends and create a future through insights.
- Monitor and provide guidance on and suggestions for continuous process improvement, leading a culture of collaboration, teamwork and accountability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with company goals and objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA to be considered a plus.
- Solid experience in leadership (leader of leaders) positions, managing sales teams, in-depth understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and trends, in Telecom, tech, finance, insurance, and FMCG companies.
- Proven successful experience in leading retail/carrier accounts of all sizes, including engaging at the C-level in large retail/carrier organizations.
- Solid strategic thinking, with the ability to develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and motivate teams, and relationship-building skills
- Analytical skills to interpret sales data and develop action plans based on insights.
- Advanced knowledge of CRM tools (such as Zoho), Microsoft Office, and GSuite, sales analytics tools, and reporting.
