Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to join our Platform Team, which supports a set of critical products and focuses on continuous improvement, performance, and optimization. As part of an enablement team, you will work on platform enhancements, observability, workflow solutions, and performance tuning, while providing guidance to developers and other teams that rely on these platforms. This role requires strong platform and observability expertise, with a focus on supporting cross-functional teams and improving internal systems.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and optimize critical internal platforms already developed.
  • Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to address performance, observability, and workflow requirements.
  • Improve platform scalability, reliability, and monitoring capabilities.
  • Support workflow orchestration, automation, and platform enhancements.
  • Provide guidance and technical support to developers and other teams using the platform.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, or related roles.
  • Strong experience in observability (Grafana) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Temporal).
  • Proficient in Java and Scala.
  • Flexible and adaptable to work hours overlapping PST time zone.
Nice to have
  • Experience with Kafka and ElasticSearch.
  • Prior exposure to Slack for team collaboration in high-communication environments.
