We are also working closely with our clients to support their digital transformation and are developing new initiatives to help them deliver on their Net Zero commitments. AtkinsRéalis is going from strength to strength in Scotland and are providing a wide range of support to our clients via the Excel framework and other routes to market. We have exciting growth plans to further expand our business in response to this pipeline of work and we are looking to enhance the Movement & Place team in Edinburgh. We are currently seeking a talented, experienced person to help deliver projects across the transport planning discipline for our expanding client base. The role will also involve supporting our wider AtkinsRéalis business working across both Edinburgh and Glasgow offices. Your role We are looking for an experienced individual who wishes to manage our high performing, dynamic team that works seamlessly with our wider national Movement & Place business but also helps grow our business in the Scottish markets. Collaborating with specialists from across our business as part of multi‑disciplinary teams, you'll work on flagship regeneration, development and infrastructure projects. We're a successful team with a well‑balanced blend of skills to face our client needs and are looking for an enthusiastic individual to add further value to our market offer. The successful candidate for this role will lead and shape the Movement & Place team and be responsible for securing and delivering work from local clients, building upon their own networks and knowledge base. Successful applicants will be expected to demonstrate capability in some of the following fields: Development of transport strategies and plans (local and strategic). Scheme appraisal and business case preparation. Transport scheme development. People movement and accessibility. Feasibility and corridor studies. Development Planning.
