PURPOSE:This role is key to advancing the link between Finance and the STS business As an experienced commercial accountant the role will work very closely to the Regional Finance Management Accountants and be responsible to produce final reporting packs and also work closely with the JFF South America Regional Director to support the financial understanding within the business through the development of key stakeholder relationships.ACTIVITIES:- Work commercially with South America Regional Director adding value to basic financial information communicating proposals and suggestions and monitoring auditing results and producing KPIs where required thus assisting the business to make strategic decisions- Ensuring Management Accountants are posting and recording transactions in accordance with IFRS and Brazil GAAP- Ensuring Management Accountants are posting and recording transactions in accordance with relevant direct and indirect taxation for Brazil- To account correctly provide for taxation in all business units with the support of our Group Tax dept- Improving internal processes systems and controls within the finance function and in the wider business- Support internal and external audit and the statutory accounts process- Responsible for the complete set of Consolidated Brazil Accounts PL BS and TBs to include Accounts Payable Receivable and Stock along with consolidation into our group reporting system including reconciliation of.- Lead the production of budgets and forecasts including balance sheet and cashflow ensuring accuracy and timely production with meaningful commentary on variances- Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of issues rising working with the Head of Finance to resolve- Consolidate and add commentary to Flash sales reports- Adhoc reporting and projects as required- Respond to demands from the Divisional Finance FD and Head of Finance ensuring clear communication and alignment with internal policies- Monitor and manage the impacts of exchange rate variations on operations proposing hedging strategies to mitigate risks- Work on systems integration and improvements in BI tools promoting dynamic analysis and faster decisionmaking.
