Lead Developer for AI-Centric Operating System

About the Role We are seeking a remote Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to play a foundational role in building an AI-centric operating system for utilities. The ideal candidate has a strong background in React.js and experience with either Golang, Node.js, or Java, with a desire to adopt Golang as the primary back-end technology. This role requires coding fundamentals, system design capability, and a startup mindset. You will work in small agile teams, collaborating closely with AI engineers, security leaders, and product managers. Front-End Development: Build, implement, and maintain front-end applications Back-End Architecture & Development: Design, implement, and maintain APIs, services, and distributed systems that form the backbone of the client's OS AI Integration: Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate models, embeddings, and agent services into back-end systems System Modernization: Transform legacy workflows into modern, secure, scalable codebases using cloud-native best practices Security & Compliance: Partner with security leaders to ensure all services adhere to stringent utility-sector regulations Your key responsibilities include: Developing robust front-end applications using React.js Designing and implementing scalable back-end architectures using Golang, Node.js, or Java Integrating AI models and services into back-end systems Transforming legacy workflows into modern codebases using cloud-native principles Ensuring compliance with utility-sector regulations and industry standards Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of software engineering experience Excellent English communication skills Strong proficiency in React, Python, and either Golang, Node.js, or Java University degree or relevant industry experience Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package, flexible working arrangements, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
