Cloud Platform Developer Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technical leader to support the development of new tools and processes for our on-prem private cloud application.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to facilitate discussions, collaborate with stakeholders, provide project updates and mentor team members.

Responsibilities include developing high-performance cloud and container technologies, delivering high-quality solutions and code, developing unit tests, investigating and resolving issues reported during testing and customer integration.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in backend development, preferably in Python, and knowledge of Linux essentials. They should also have experience working with container technologies, such as Docker, and cloud computing concepts.

A strong understanding of computer networking is also required, including HTTP/HTTPS/SIP/etc. and TCP/UDP/etc. layers.

In addition, the successful candidate should have experience collaborating effectively across remote teams and time zones, and experience with GIT, JIRA, Gitlab and code review tools.

Highly desirable skills include experience with Kubernetes Cluster Administration, Kubernetes App Development, PostgreSQL as a developer, RabbitMQ as a developer, Helm, and other related technologies.
