Tax Compliance Analyst

About the role We are looking for a Tax Compliance Analyst to join Volvo Financial Services (VFS) Brazil, located on-site at our Curitiba office. In this position, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring full tax compliance for a diverse group of financial services businesses — including a bank, insurance broker, consortium administrator, and vehicle rental company. Beyond daily tax routines, you will play an active role during Brazil’s tax reform transition, experiencing this historic transformation of the national tax system from the inside of a global organization that values continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration. How you can make the impact As a Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for: Calculation, payment, declaration, and reconciliation of direct and indirect taxes; Calculation and payment of withholding taxes; Support in the preparation and submission of tax returns (DCTF, EFD-Contribuições, EFD-Reinf, ECD, and ECF); Assistance with audit and inspection requests; Invoice issuance and tax account reconciliation; Support in process improvements and automation initiatives across the tax area. Also, you will be a key member of the Brazilian Tax Reform implementation Important This is a 100% on-site position, based in Curitiba, Paraná. Who are you? Do you dream big? In this role, we are looking for a professional with: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Law, Business Administration, Economics, or related areas; Solid experience in tax administration and compliance; Experience with financial services taxation will be considered a strong plus; Ability to interpret and apply tax legislation to practical business situations; Experience with tax returns and reconciliations; Knowledge of automation tools will be considered an advantage; Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
