Performance Marketing Analyst

Nerdy is seeking a data-driven Performance Marketing Analyst to help manage, enhance, and develop the company's digital marketing campaigns and strategies. This role will play a pivotal role in driving our digital marketing efforts and achieving our business goals. The Performance Marketing Analyst will be responsible for enabling, developing, executing, and evaluating data-driven marketing strategies to increase customer acquisition, engagement, and retention while optimizing advertising spend across various digital channels. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Business, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus). Proven experience in Marketing, UX, or Business Analytics. Proficiency in analytics tools (GA4, GA360, Looker, Tableau). Proficiency in at least one querying language (SQL preferred). Operational experience with a CDP (Segment preferred). An understanding of digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) and marketing analytics tools. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent communication and presentation skills. A creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box. Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Certifications in relevant platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint) are a plus. Fluent in English. Responsibilities Develop and execute performance marketing strategies to achieve targeted KPIs, such as ROAS, CPA, and conversion rates. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives. Work with Marketing Operations, Data Engineering, and Product to ensure marketing tools are properly set up and optimized. Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, marketing automation platforms) to track campaign performance and generate actionable insights. Prepare regular performance reports and present findings to stakeholders. Continuously evaluate and provide optimization and strategic guidance on current and future campaigns. Collaborate with the UX/UI and content teams to improve landing page effectiveness and user experience to increase conversion rates. Plan and execute A/B tests to optimize ad creatives, landing pages, and other marketing elements. Communicate findings to improve campaign performance.
