This role is a fit for a Sr. Designer ready to step up, an Associate Design Director from a smaller shop looking to grow within a larger team, or a Lead Web Designer seeking to advance their career within a high-growth agency.The Lead Web Designer is both hands-on and strategic: you’ll design systems, shape web content strategies, and present creative directions to clients with clarity and confidence. You’ll also provide leadership to mid-level and junior designers, working with a Design Director to help shape creative vision while setting standards for quality, process, and visual storytelling.What You’ll DoOwn the creative process from strategy through design execution, ensuring each web project delivers clarity, impact, and BX-level quality.Develop visual identity systems from scratch in short timeframes, adapting them into cohesive, scalable websites.Lead web content strategy—structuring information, messaging, and design patterns to maximize storytelling and usability.Design websites in Webflow-first workflows, collaborating closely with developers for seamless execution.Present and pitch creative work directly to clients, explaining decisions with clarity and confidence.Mentor and guide mid-level and junior designers, elevating their work and modeling best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (graphics, UX, dev) to bring ambitious websites to life.Implement and refine processes within the design team to ensure smooth collaboration, efficient iteration, and consistent high quality.Stay ahead of trends in web design, storytelling, and Webflow workflows—bringing new ideas into BX Studio projects.What We’re Looking For5–7 years of web design experience, ideally with B2 B companies, Saa S brands, and digital-first identities.Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end web projects: strategy, visual identity, UX/UI, and final design execution.Proven ability to lead client conversations and present creative directions with clarity and confidence.Experience developing visual identity systems and scalable design systems applied across digital experiences.Solid foundation in content strategy, information architecture, and UX principles.Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma required; Adobe Creative Suite a plus).Webflow knowledge required; familiarity with responsive best practices and handoff to development.Strong leadership potential—experience mentoring or leading designers highly preferred.Process-oriented mindset: able to shape workflows and uphold creative standards in a fast-paced agency environment.Why Join BX Studio?Lead ambitious web projects for innovative B2 B and Saa S brands.Step into a role that bridges Sr. Designer and Associate Design Director responsibilities.Grow your leadership skills while still working hands-on with design.Collaborate with a talented, supportive, and high-standard team in a flexible remote environment.
