About the Role We are seeking a Power BI Report Developer with strong experience in Databricks to design, build, and optimize high-impact analytics solutions. In this role, you will develop interactive dashboards and data visualizations that help transform complex data into actionable insights for business decision-makers. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, analytics, and operations, to ensure data accuracy, performance, and scalability. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in data-rich environments, combining technical precision with creative storytelling through visuals. You’ll be responsible for managing data ingestion and transformation workflows using Databricks , building efficient SQL queries , and connecting Power BI to large-scale cloud data sources such as Azure Synapse or Data Lake. If you are passionate about data visualization, analytics, and cloud-based data solutions, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your expertise and make a measurable impact. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver actionable business insights. Utilize Databricks for data ingestion, transformation, and notebook-based analytics workflows. Connect Power BI to large-scale data environments (e.g., Azure Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks). Build efficient SQL queries and implement optimized data models. Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across reporting solutions. Support ETL development and data validation efforts as needed. Stay updated with emerging BI and cloud technologies to continuously improve reporting capabilities. Must Have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field. 3+ years of experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI. Hands‑on experience with Databricks (data ingestion, transformation, notebooks, and queries). Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes. Experience integrating Power BI with enterprise-scale cloud data environments (Azure Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks). Nice to Have Experience with Azure Data Factory or other ETL orchestration tools. Familiarity with Python or PySpark within Databricks. Understanding of data governance and security best practices in cloud environments. Experience in performance optimization for BI dashboards and queries.
