Job Description: The successful candidate will work on a variety of engineering design tasks, collaborating with designers, architects, and project managers. The role involves applying deep expertise in mechanical systems within the context of NYC building codes, using advanced software tools to deliver accurate and code-compliant engineering plans. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed mechanical engineering drawings in accordance with NYC building codes. Design and analyze HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems for commercial and residential projects. Coordinate with architectural and structural teams to ensure design compatibility and regulatory compliance. Revise and update technical drawings based on project specifications and markups. Conduct technical reviews and contribute to the development of project documentation. Requirements & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design and drafting. Strong knowledge of New York City building codes and regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, remote work environment. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Tools Required: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Procore. Benefits: Full-time position (40 hours per week). Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST. 100% Work‑from‑Home. Compensation: USD $***** per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
