Expert Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Platform Engineer to design and build scalable, secure cloud infrastructure in AWS. Key Responsibilities Design and implement cloud platform components using Terraform, adhering to best practices for scalability and security. Develop and maintain secure multi-account AWS environments, following Well-Architected principles. Build and deploy internal platform tooling, automation scripts, templates, and golden paths. Provide expert support for EKS/Kubernetes environments and microservice deployment foundations. Implement Kafka-based event streaming and messaging capabilities, ensuring high availability and reliability. Work closely with engineers to define infrastructure for distributed, real-time systems. Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and distributed tracing solutions. Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and service level objectives (SLOs) are met for platform components. Contribute to disaster recovery design, multi-region readiness, and resilience testing. Enforce best practices for identity and access management (IAM), secrets management, encryption, and network security. Develop guardrails, policies, and automated compliance into CI/CD and infrastructure as code (IaC) workflows. Contribute to platform risk assessments and mitigation strategies. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering. Strong experience with AWS. Excellent Terraform skills and a solid understanding of Kubernetes/EKS. Experience with Kafka or other event-streaming technologies.
