Parallel Computing Labs PCL India part of Intel Labs is looking for motivated researchers in the area of parallel and distributed computing research applied towards Artificial Intelligence Deep Learning and High Performance computingOur research scientists have a rich history of industry leading results collaborations with leading academics and routinely achieve higher than acceptance rate at Tier1 conferences. At the same time they see their research realize into significant influence over future of computing architectures via close collaborations inside Intel.**The research focus is on**:**In this position you will be responsible for** investigating relevant software and hardware techniques with the goal of converting these into products and fueling Intel's growth. This requires a good understanding of state of art techniques in parallel computing machine learning distributed architecture specific optimization of algorithms and benchmarking along with a strong understanding of computer architecture.**Behavioral traits desired**:- Strong communication skills- Good to work in a demanding team oriented environment.- Good to design and execute on research agenda**Qualifications**- Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work, classes, research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences._**Minimum**:- Enrolled in a PhD Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field- 6+months of experience in:- Deep Learning, Natural Language. Understanding Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Algorithmic Foundations of Optimizations Machine Intelligence, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence.- Programming experience and proficiency in C, C low level intrinsic assembly.- Contributing to research communities and/or efforts including publishing papers at Tier1 conferences such as NIPS, ICLR, ICML, CVPR, SC, IPDPS, ISCA, PACT, ASPLOS, etc.- Advanced level of English**Preferred**- Experience in development of parallel algorithms and architecture specific optimizations- Experience with parallel architecture like Xeon Phi GPGPUs- Relevant work experience including full time industry experience or as a researcher in a lab**Inside this Business Group**Intel Labs is the company's world-class, industry leading research organization, responsible for driving Intel's technology pipeline and creating new opportunities.
