**Position Description**:
The Senior Manager for Global Corporate Affairs (GCA) Functional Operations will manage and drive the execution of the day-to-day operations of the Global Corporate Affairs (GCA) team. Work in line with GCA leadership to help drive strategic alignment, talent development, a consistent operational framework, and empowered culture that enables GCA to be an inspired, world-class global, communications team.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Acts as a liaison to the Head of Global Corporate Affairs and their leadership team on all major calendar items across internal and external initiatives
- Establishes processes for sharing best practices and new communication innovations across the global function
- Helps identify and operationalize common processes, approaches, and standards to help make the global function consistent and efficient
- Implements approach to track function performance against GCA Strategic Plan
- Helps execute the plan to engage and inform the function and strengthen a culture of trust, collaboration, and transparency
- Helps manage function communication channels
- Provides exceptional support for GCA learning programs and talent development processes
- Ensures compliance and enterprise quality standards are met and tracked
- Monitors and assesses team health and effectiveness of the GCA team through scorecards and dashboards
- Tracks and reports on the Strategy & Operations budget in collaboration with Global Finance
**Qualifications** Required Competencies**:
- University/Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience
- Experience working in a communications environment
- Experience working in a global function
- Operate effectively in a matrixed organization to collaboratively drive projects to completion on-schedule
- Strong competency and demonstrable results in execution excellence
- Demonstrated ability to produce quality results in a fast-paced, complex environment
- Ability to establish strong connections across the function
- Strong project management skills with emphasis on planning, prioritizing, and execution under tight timeframes
- Strong writing skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Must be highly detailed oriented
- Computer proficiency required
- Key problem-solving skills in developing communication strategies and actions. Requires a high degree of independent judgment and decision making
