Read more about who we are and what we do here: Solution Architect We’re looking for a visionary Solution Architect with strong technical leadership and strategic thinking to shape the next generation of gaming platforms. Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Develop high‑level architecture and design for software solutions, ensuring they meet both functional and non‑functional requirements such as performance, security, and scalability. Create architectural documentation and diagrams to support development and implementation. Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks that align with Playtech’s technical standards and strategic goals. Design integration strategies to ensure seamless interaction between various systems and components, working closely with other architects and engineers to ensure compatibility. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the implementation phase, ensuring alignment with architectural design and standards. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, communicating complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner. Identify potential risks and devise strategies to mitigate them, ensuring that solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards. Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices, recommending and implementing improvements to existing systems and processes. Qualifications Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. Possess 5–6 years of experience in IT or a related field, with at least 3–5 years in a senior technical or developer role. Understand cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Are familiar with architecture frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman. Have knowledge of software development methodologies including Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines. Bring experience with API management, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns. Understand cybersecurity principles, data management, and infrastructure technologies such as networking, servers, and virtualization. Have experience managing or leading IT projects and working with different stakeholders to align solutions with business needs. Communicate clearly and effectively, especially when translating technical concepts to non‑technical audiences. Demonstrate strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to lead technical teams and drive architectural decisions. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and understand how to incorporate them into business solutions. Understand business processes and how technology can drive value, including working with third‑party vendors and evaluating their solutions. Preferred Qualifications Holding certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, PMP, or PRINCE2. Being a strategic thinker with excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy. Being a diligent and organized individual. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and other cross‑functional teams to design scalable, secure, and innovative systems.
