Your responsibilities may include:* Deep knowledge of Brazilian tax laws and international tax treaties.* Hands-on experience in Brazilian tax compliance for both indirect and direct taxes.* Ability to prepare tax calculations for review by external advisors (e.g., EY and Deloitte).* Solid understanding of tax accounting, including deferred tax calculations (Annual and Half-Year) under IFRS and BRGAAP.* Experience with accounting reconciliations for tax GL accounts using SAP and Blackline.* Familiarity with audit processes conducted by Brazilian tax authorities, in coordination with external advisory firms.* Strong command of key Brazilian taxes: IRPJ, CSLL, ISS, PIS, COFINS, and ICMS.* Ability to review and coordinate SPED obligations, municipal requirements (withholding tax), IBGE, and BACEN reporting.* Understanding of Transfer Pricing report processes, with support from external specialists.* Capacity to review and advise on internal tax-related queries from other departments regarding the treatment of specific operations and business activities.**Qualifications & Experience**We’re looking for a seasoned tax professional with:* A background in Accounting or Tax, with at least 6 years of experience in Brazilian tax (local and international), including tax accounting under IFRS and BRGAAP.* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.* Experience with SAP, HFM, and SPED systems.* Advanced English; Spanish is a plus.* Knowledge of Brazilian tax laws and tax treaties.* Brazilian tax compliance (indirect and direct taxes).* Prepare tax calculations to be reviewed by external advisors (EY and Deloitte).* Tax accounting knowledge (deferred taxes).
