Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and talented Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with hands-on experience in a mature software engineering and a DevSecOps environment to further develop their skills and make a meaningful impact within a forward-thinking organization. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering team, contributing to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our applications and cloud platforms.

In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with various stakeholders, including our experienced engineering team, Cloud Operations, Security, Compliance, and other key partners. Your primary focus will be on engineering practices to streamline our software development processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our cloud platform. You will gain hands-on experience with a variety of DevSecOps tools and application and platform technologies, helping to build and maintain our continuous integration and delivery pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated deployment processes.

You will be involved in a wide range of tasks, including application and platform automation, infrastructure management, monitoring, and performance optimization. Your foundational understanding of application and platform engineering concepts, practices, and tools will be critical as you contribute to the implementation of best practices and the optimization of our platform workflows. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain scalable and reliable enterprise software systems.
• Support architecture for complex applications ensuring they meet business requirements.
• Ensure systems are designed to deliver resilience requirements
• Implement best practices in coding and software development.
• Perform the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of platforms.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (developers, operations, QA, etc.).
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other engineers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Implement and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Develop scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure software and platforms comply with security standards and regulations.
• Implement security best practices and conduct regular security assessments.
• Adhere to access controls and protect sensitive data.
• Document processes, procedures, and infrastructure setups.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience with AI and Generative AI technologies
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in application / platform engineering or software engineering role.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks and infrastructure management.
• In-depth knowledge of programming frameworks (e.g., .NET, JAVA) and application development.
• Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) management, including writing and maintaining modules.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), including creating and managing pipelines.
• Comprehensive experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), including designing and implementing cloud services and architectures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment, ensuring platform reliability and scalability.
