We are looking for a Data Engineer to be part of our team that is working for clients in Europe. In this position, you will design, implement and support data pipelines working closely with teams in the EU, US, Brazil and other countries. You need advanced and/or fluent proficiency in English to communicate with these different teams and clients during the workday, PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR CV IN ENGLISH .

We are looking for someone who has:

  1. Solid experience in designing, building and testing data pipelines.
  2. Solid experience using Python for data (data gathering, cleaning, transformation, joining, reading and writing data frames using different formats).
  3. Comfort learning new frameworks.
  4. Experience with Cloud (especially AWS Glue).
  5. Good knowledge with Infrastructure as a Code.
  6. Willingness to work with different technologies and learn every day.
  7. Ability to share your knowledge with more junior team members.

The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Develop code used by data tools on Cloud (AWS) to perform expected data aggregation and processing operations.
  2. Support, troubleshoot and fix bugs on existing data pipelines.
  3. Define, build and deliver high-quality data pipelines.
  4. Participate in the Data Validation process.
  5. Cloud infrastructure design and setup.
  6. Design, construct, install, test and maintain data management systems.
  7. Ensure that all systems meet the business/company requirements as well as industry practices.
  8. Integrate up-and-coming data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures.
  9. Develop set processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.
  10. Recommend different ways to constantly improve data reliability and quality.
  11. Analyze and organize raw data.
  12. Build data-marts that will be consumed by data scientist's analysis and data visualization tools.

We expect candidates to have knowledge in some, but not necessarily all fields below:

  1. Knowledge of non-functional requirements (performance, security, privacy, GDPR etc).
  2. Knowledge of Cloud Data Platform (AWS RedShift, AWS EMR, SnowFlake).
  3. Knowledge of unit, integration and E2E testing.
  4. Knowledge of using python or other scripting languages to automate day to day tasks.
  5. Knowledge on different SQL and No SQL databases.
