Frontend Engineer Opportunity

This is an exciting temporary contract position for a seasoned Frontend Engineer to work on the frontend of a major global online community and discussion platform, serving millions of users worldwide.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing, maintaining and supporting all features of the platform's frontend
  • Performing code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers
  • Collaborating with the team on future features and visual design possibilities
  • Managing assigned tasks in our project management tool and ensuring clear communication on progress, questions and risks
  • Contributing to technical discussions and sharing best practices with a global, remote team

We are seeking an experienced software engineer with 4+ years of experience in building user-facing web applications at scale using TypeScript. Key skills include:

  • Solid knowledge of GraphQL and HTTP basics
  • Backend experience (service development, databases, Kubernetes) and ability to design maintainable APIs is a strong plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver projects on time
  • Self-directed, proactive and comfortable working in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with remote teams and convey complex technical topics
